LAHORE: Cases of Dengue fever are continuously increasing in Punjab including Lahore, Geo News reported Saturday.
Residents of Lahore have denied the government’s claim that fumigation drives are being conducted. Families of patients suffering from Dengue fever said that fumigation drives were not held in their neighbourhoods and they had requested the district management to conduct fumigation drives but no action was taken.
According to doctors, prevention from dengue fever is only possible by fumigation and the number of patients will increase if Dengue mosquitoes are not killed.
