A suspected target killer was arrested by the Special Investigation
Unit (SIU) in raid in the Lines Area here, Geo News reported.SSP SIU, Raja Umar Khattab said that one suspected target killer has been arrested, who has confessed to have targeted and slaughtered five persons with sharp instruments and dumped the mutilated bodies in different areas of the city. The arrested accused seemingly young identified himself as Sehroze son of Yusuf. However, the motive behind the series of brutal killings still remains a mystery.
Raja Umar Khattab said that one body packed in a TV cardboard box was recovered from a one roomed rented house at sector 5-B North Karachi on information extracted from the accused. The slaughtered victim has been identified as Iftikhar Bhatti, who was kidnapped and slain.
The arrested target killer said that he was not associated with any gang, but confessed having three/four accomplices of whom two were named Abid and Kamran.
