Dengue cases rise to 1,729 in Punjab LAHORE: The number of patients suffering from Dengue is increasing rapidly here, Geo News reported. According to the health department, 1,729 Dengue cases have been reported across Punjab with 1,555 cases being reported in Lahore alone.

Doctors said patients are being provided free treatment but only severe cases are being admitted. Residents of several areas of Lahore have complained that fumigation is not being conducted in their area, and if it is then the standard of spray is below par.

This prompted Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif to form a committee to check the standard of the spray being used for fumigation
