PESHAWAR: The gold price has hit highest to a record Rs54, 250 per tola in the provincial here, Geo news reported.
Sarrafa Association said that the spate of hiking prices of gold all across the country persists due to shooting international market gold prices.
Gold price in the city here surging by Rs700 hit the record at Rs54, 250 per tola as against two days ago Rs53, 505 per tola.
Sarrafa Association attributed among other reasons for the soaring gold price to mainly instability in rupee value.
