KARACHI: A Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and former city nazim Mustafa Kamal on Friday said that armed men gunned down MQM workers while entering their houses.
Talking to media after offering funeral prayers of party workers, MQM leader said that armed men shot dead ten people at about 7 am in Malir Saudabad and adjoining areas, adding that armed men had support of ministers.
Mustafa Kamal said that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain appealed to the people to remain calm and abide by law.
He added that Rangers clashed with the armed men and ensured the security of a common people while police did not take any action.
