Defying of SC orders continues

 ISLAMABAD: The government is in no mood to follow the Supreme Court orders and continuously defying the verdicts passed by the apex court, Geo News reported.

In National Reconciliation Ordinance verdict, all cases including those of in Swiss courts were ordered to reopen but the government has not written letter asking for reopening them.

In another case the court asked the Centre to appoint NAB chairman but after the expiry of the dateline the top post is still lying vacant. Notification to de-notify PCO judges has also not been issued despite clear SC orders.

Orders were issued to initiate investigations against former chairman CDA Kamran Lashari in F-9 park case but no action has been taken in this regard.

Probe was ordered against responsible government officials in LNG quota case but this order has also not been implemented.

Investigation officers in NICL and hajj corruption cases have also not been reinstated and court orders are being violated.
